I put the hex on them.

I'm watching San Jose melt down in Calgary and I'm beginning to think it's because I put money on them tonight (and picked them to win the Cup). A quick 3-0 lead for the Sharks and the Flames have come all the way back to go up 4-3 late in the third. After Owen Nolan's go-ahead goal, the cameras showed Nabokov shaking his head in disbelief. Here come the mental demons of playoffs past for San Jose. Every playoff series has "that moment" -- the one where the tide turns irrevocably in one team's favor. Nolan's game-winner might be just that for this series.

It's now official: Calgary lead the series 2-1. I will no longer be putting any money on San Jose for the rest of the first round.
