What happened to the mighty Suns?

Feels good. Feels really good. Kobe for MVP.

I know it's not yet halfway through the season, but the gap in quality from the last couple seasons between these two has been completely eliminated. I'm loving the Lakers run, so far, but I'm not ready to call them a championship contender for this season. I am, however, ready to say that Phoenix is out of that discussion. Still San Antonio's to lose, but I guess Boston would have to be considered the only team that could stop them.
