Regarding Michael Vick

Indicted. Surprising? No, not to me. But here comes the interesting part. The NFL's hard-line stance against wrong-doers within it's ranks has turned heads, to say the least, but does Roger Goodell have the balls -- the intestinal fortitude -- to put his money where his mouth is and suspend Michael Vick for a substantial amount of time just as he did Pacman Jones and Chris Henry? Clearly, it would be hypocritical not to do so. So it will be very interesting to see over the next few days whether or not the NFL is serious about cleaning up their image or just posturing. Now that they have a bonafide star in the crosshairs, will they do the right thing and punish his scummy carcas? I should hope so. The untouchable NFL would look quite pathetic if it looked the other way.

Bill Simmons has already mentioned that this coming season for the Falcons has "Ewing Theory" written all over it. I really, truly hope we get to see that theory tested.
